An incident progresses through several distinct statuses. Throughout each stage, Phoenix Incidents keeps all stakeholders up to date on the progress toward resolution.

  • New: The initial state upon creation

  • Assessing: The team evaluates the incident's scope and impact

  • Fixing: The team actively works on a resolution

  • Resolved: The incident has been fixed, and the incident is awaiting RCA completion.

  • Canceled: We determined the incident was a false alarm

  • Pending Mitigation: One or more action items are waiting to be completed.

  • Closed: The final state after RCA completion and all associated action items are addressed
