Overview
Phoenix Incidents can have you up and running within minutes using best practice conventions and minimal configuration. Following are the minimum steps you need to do to get ready to use Phoenix Incidents.
Fast Setup
Upon connection, Phoenix Incidents creates two public channels for you:
#incidents(or#phoenix-incidents). This channel is the central hub for company-wide incident communication#incidents-reporting. This channel contains critical SLA reminders about RCA meetings and Action Items.
This integration will enable Phoenix Incidents to page the right engineering team when Incidents are created.
The fastest way to get started is to use our Suggest Products feature to examine your Jira project names and services in PagerDuty or VictorOps that automatically creates products for your organization.
4. Ready to go!
Now your team can create incidents:
in Jira: Create > Project: Incidents > Type: Incident
in Slack:
/phoenix create.
