Schedules, also called rotations, decide who is on call at any given time. The Who's On Call view shows current and upcoming coverage.

A timeline grid shows the shifts for each team.

  • Timezone toggle – switch between your local time and UTC.

  • Day or hour – view coverage by day or by hour.

  • Today, previous, and next – navigate the timeline, up to a 30-day window.

πŸ” Rotations

A rotation is an ordered set of shifts. Each shift is a block of time with a person assigned. You can edit a rotation to add or remove shifts and change who is assigned.

πŸ›Ÿ Overrides

An override replaces the scheduled person for a window of time.

  • Take On-Call – creates a one-hour override starting now.

  • Add Override – opens a time picker where you choose a window and a reason (Sick, Coverage gap, or Other).

πŸ“– Terminology

  • Rotation – an ordered set of shifts.

  • Shift – a block of time with a person assigned.

  • Override – a temporary replacement of the scheduled person for a window.
